Dr. Cory Knepshield was born in a Christian home in a little country town in Ohio.  He was saved at the age of five under the preaching and influence of his grandfather, Pastor Walter Carney.  As a teenager, God began to burden his heart about serving the Lord in full-time ministry, and as a junior in public high school, he surrendered to the call to preach.  After receiving a B.A. from Pensacola Christian College, he spent ten years as a youth/assistant pastor.  He has served as the Pastor of Clearview Baptist Church in Southaven, MS since 2007.  In 2016, Pastor Knepshield was awarded an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist College and Seminary.  Dr. Knepshield is the author of many publications, including multiple adult Sunday School series, devotional studies, and local church helps.  He is a solid Fundamentalist, a passionate soul-winner, and an avid deer hunter.  Dr. Knepshield married his sweetheart, Kelli (Barton), in the summer of 1998.  He and Kelli have 4 sons who are very active in their respective church ministries and one adorable grandson.
