Dr. David Sorenson is a widely read independent Baptist author, with over 100,000 books in print. His books on the Bible issue (Touch Not the Unclean Thing, God’s Perfect Book, Neither Oldest Nor Best, and The Faithful Word) are considered some of the best written on the Bible and textual issue. Others acclaim his family books (Training Your Children to Turn Out Right and Have a Heavenly Marriage). Some of his other helpful books include, Broad is the Way, Moral Failure, The Proverbs, When He Shall Come, Empowered by the Devil: The Rise and Fall of Adolf Hitler, The Majesty of the Psalms, The Art of Pastoring, and Winning People to Christ.

Dr. Sorenson is a third generation fundamental Baptist preacher. (His father and grandfather accumulated about 100 years as Baptist preachers before him.) David Sorenson has accomplished about 56 years in the ministry. He has read the Bible through over 300 times.
