Dr. Ernest Childs was saved at the age of 29. Soon after his conversion, he began serving the Lord by preaching and teaching the Word in youth meetings, rescue missions, and anywhere else he could find an audience. After pursuing formal training, he spent the next 53 years in ministry as a pastor, church planter, conference speaker, and professor of Bible and Systematic Theology at Ambassador Baptist College for 20 years.

Dr. Childs went home to be with the Lord in August 2024. During his ministry, he preached extensively on victorious Christian living and personally mentored many believers in developing a personal walk with God.
